Co-founder of Drop, expert in design strategy, concept & industrial design with more than 20 years of experience in the field of innovation applied to the creation of new products and services in sectors such as: retail, automotive, robotics, technology, consumer electronics, toys and childcare, among others.

He is project coordinator in several masters at IED Barcelona and professor of innovation methodology, User Centered Design.

Roberto Gili

Industrial Engineer and MBA from IESE. He is a member of the Corps of Engineers of the Ministry of Industry and in service at the Foreign Investment Commission. He was also in the Generalitat de Catalunya as responsible for the sectors in industrial reconversion and launching of the first Innovation programs for SMEs.

In the private sector, he has worked in private equity fund management at Grupo Caixa and Alta Partners. After a sabbatical at MIT in Boston, he has focused on launching innovative projects and fostering entrepreneurship such as Crowdcube, Ubiqum Code Academy, IQS Tech Factory, and Stage2, among others.

Architect partner of Paris Camps Arquitectura, expert in the generation of spaces for sustainability and technological innovation. Author of award-winning buildings for innovation and sustainability, such as the Sant Pau Research Institute and the Reus Hospital, among others.

Involved in the ecosystem for the technological and environmental transformation of building, he chairs the Cambra Professional, is vice-president of FECOCAT (Catalan Federation of Construction Industry, Commerce and Services), member of the Urban Planning Commission of the 22@Network association of Barcelona and of the Industrialization Commission of the Construïm el Futur platform of ITEC (Institute of Construction Technology).

Co-founder of Drop, expert in strategic innovation and design, with more than 20 years of experience. He has developed projects in various sectors: retail, services, health, consumer electronics, capital goods, toys, technology, and FMCG. Consultant certified in Innovation by ACCIÓ.
He is Director of the Innovation Lab of the ESADE MBA and professor of Design Thinking, Innovation and Lean Startup at ESADE. He is also Coordinator of the Master in Innovation Strategies & Entrepreneurship at IED.
He is a PhD, specialized in the development of innovation competencies.

District 22@Barcelona

Space of 200Has located in the north of the city of Barcelona in the Poblenou neighborhood. It follows a complex system model integrated by several subsystems that is currently adopted by many cities around the world.

It currently has more than 2M m2 built and more than 100,000 people employed and is the economic engine of the city of Barcelona.

Llevant District of Palma

Space in the “Nou Llevant” neighborhood of Palma de Mallorca. A “seed urbanism” strategy was adopted.

Identifying four poles or “Hubs”, with specific specializations for each of the four urban development poles, which have some relevant public or private agents.

San José, Costa Rica: Ciudad TEC and T24 District

Based on the study conducted in 2018 titled: Development of the conceptual, strategic and financial design of the Technological City Project in San José, Costa Rica. This study was contracted by the Inter-American Development Bank and was led by Mayor Johnny Araya.

The Action Plan is organized into 4 chapters, 29 Actions and nearly 200 concrete tasks, which is currently being developed.

Sant Pau Hospital Research Institute

Biomedical research center of excellence located on the Campus of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona. It conducts basic and clinical research to develop new techniques and processes through healthcare innovation.
Drafting and presentation of the derived urban planning. Drafting of the project and construction management of the new building (2018) in a multidisciplinary team.

V21 Innovation District, Viña del Mar (Chile)
